Due to numerous inquiries about what is included in each of the Lodging Sites referenced on the Registration Form, I hope the following will assist you in deciding which accommodations you desire while attending Southland Dixie 2010:
All hotel rooms and suites, as well as the Lodge, are NON-SMOKING facilities.
Each hotel room and suite has in-room refrigerators and microwaves. Other amenities include hair dryer, coffee and coffee pot, TV and
Bluff Side Standard Rooms:
66 rooms - 2 Queen Beds, chair and ottoman
6 rooms with 2 Queen Beds, chair and ottoman, and writing desk
2 rooms with King Bed, chair and ottoman, and writing desk.
Parking Lot Standard Rooms:
22 rooms with Queen Bed and Sleeper Sofa
2 rooms with Queen Bed, writing desk and chair. No Sleeper Sofa
1 room (Handicap Room with roll-in shower) with Queen Bed, writing desk and chair. No Sleeper Sofa.
Queen Suites:
4 of these Suites do not have an adjoining hotel room. 2 of these Suites do have adjoining rooms and are considered “Bluff Side Standard Rooms” and have an additional charge (see above for rates of Bluff Side Standard Room). Details of the Queen Suites are:
As you enter the room, you are in a small foyer with a table and wall-mounted mirror. The room to the left is a large Bedroom with 2 Queen Beds, chairs and a desk. The room to the right is a living room with a Sleeper Sofa. A large bathroom connects these two rooms and it has both a bathtub/shower, and large vanity space.
King Suites:
These suites are a little smaller than the Queen Suites. They have a living room with a Sleeper Sofa and a bedroom with a King Bed. The bedroom is all glass-front affording the guest a beautiful view of the
Cabins and Chalets:
Each unit has 2 bedrooms, 1 with a King Bed and 1 with two (2) full beds. Chalets have 1 bathroom and Cabins have 2 bathrooms. Amenities include: full kitchen, coffee and coffee pot, TV and
NOTE:
Cabins are located on the lakeside, below the Lodge. Chalets are located next to the Lodge and are within walking distance.
